What to look for in concealed carry clothing? Versatility. No matter if you’re right or left hand draw or carry a large or small firearm, the Ridge Packin’ Tee adapts and is designed for versatility, comfort and style. Always have your firearm at your side without the fit issues and comfort restrictions from standard holsters, and no need for jackets or other heavy outerwear to conceal your weapon. Everyday shirts/clothing can be worn over the Packin’ Tee, which features a compression fit, snug but not bulky or constricting.
The Packin’ Tee is universal for use with either a right or left handed gun holster. The heavy-duty hook and loop attachment pads on both sides of the shirt offer the ability to use one side for the gun holster and the other for the Packin’ Tee accessories: the Wallet Accessory Pouch (for cell phones, passports, badges, etc.) and the Magazine Pouch for carrying an additional magazine. See our Packin’ Tee Video for more details.
The Packin’ Tee is 100% pre-shrunk cotton and made for a compression fit. Available in white and black and in sizes small to x-large.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q) Why are the shirts sleeveless?
A) The women’s Packin’ Tee has a cap sleeve to reduce bulk and for ease of drawing your sidearm.
Q) Are they available in a V-neck?
A) No, only the men’s version is available in V-neck. Women’s are available in a scoop neck only.
Q) Is there a weight limit on the gun carried?
A) No. However, keep in mind that the shirt is designed for deep concealment so the bigger the gun, the harder it is to conceal. Also, the heavier the gun, the more uncomfortable it will be to carry.
Q) How do I clean the Packin’ Tee shirt?
A) We recommend that you remove any accessory pouches from the shirt before washing. After you remove the accessories, you can wash the Packin’ Tee just like any other cotton shirt. Dry in dryer on low heat or hang to dry. If you forget to remove the accessories, they won’t be ruined, but it will most likely shorten their life span. We suggest washing the accessories by hand and air drying.
Q) How should the shirt fit me?
A) Close to the body. This shirt is designed to be a “compression fit”. It should be form-fitted to the body. This type of fit helps keep your weapon close to the body so that it remains securely in place.
Q) What size do I wear?
A) Typically you should wear the size shirt that you would normally wear. If you wear XL, 2X or 3X and you are broad around the stomach you may need to move up a size due to the compression fitting being tight around the stomach. Note: these shirts are based on Women sizing.
Q) I vary between two sizes. Which size should I get?
A) If this question applies to you, we recommend that you buy the larger of the two sizes.
Q) What keeps my gun from rusting due to sweat?
A) We cannot guarantee that your gun will not rust. However, we have designed the arm holes to fit up under the arm pit to absorb as much sweat as possible. This should keep most of the sweat from contact with the gun.
Q) How do I draw my weapon from the Packin’ Tee?
A) This shirt is designed to be a cross draw. If you are right handed, the gun should be located on your left side so you draw across your body when pulling your weapon from the holster. And the opposite for left-hand draw.
Q) What is the best type of shirt to wear over the Packin’ Tee?
A) Whatever you want to wear. If you are wearing a button up, you simply unbutton the top 1 or 2 buttons and reach in for the weapon. In a life or death situation you may need to rip the shirt open to save time. If you are wearing a polo style shirt, you can reach down through the top or come up through the bottom. If the shirt is tucked in, you simply grab & untuck the shirt to get to the gun. The Packin’ Tee is compression fit so it should not be affected by pulling your over-shirt up. This same scenario applies to a t-shirt being worn over the Packin’ Tee.
Q) Can I carry two guns in the Packin’ Tee?
A) Yes. The Packin’ Tee was designed for versatility. You can:
- Carry a gun on both sides
- Carry a gun on one side and spare ammo on the other
- Carry a gun on one side and cell phone, wallet, badge, etc on the other
- Carry no gun and conceal a knife, mace, pepper spray, etc.
Q) How many holsters are available?
A) Two: Large and Small. All holsters are available in white or black.
Please refer to the Holster Gun Sizing Chart to see what holster you need.
